Gear Review: 600ADX by Priority Bicycles
Looking for a rugged bike built for adventure? The 600ADX by Priority Bicycles features a carbon belt drive, Pinion C1.12 gearbox, and more! See why we love it here.
The Ultimate Belt-Drive Adventure Bike!
Whether you're tackling remote gravel roads, heading into the backcountry with camera gear, or cruising rugged desert trails, the 600ADX by Priority Bicycles is a total game-changer for adventure cyclists and explorers.
Designed for seriously epic times, this powerful mid-drive bike brings together performance, reliability, and low-maintenance design in a way that's hard to beat. I've been riding this bicycle for over a year and am sure if you're in the market for a workhorse adventure bike, you'd be super happy with this one!
Standout Features
The 600ADX is a purpose built bike crafted for the kind of travel that eats up chains, derailleurs, and patience. Here’s what makes it stand out:
- Gates Carbon CDX Belt Drive: Say goodbye to greasy chains and constant maintenance. The carbon belt drive paired with a Pinion gearbox means fewer breakdowns in the field. I've had none! (knock on wood!)
- Pinion C1.12 Gearbox: 600% gear range with a sealed internal system that’s made for harsh conditions like mud, snow, and sand. I especially love this when I'm cycling through desert dust!
- 4-Piston Hydraulic Brakes: Confident stopping power even on steep descents or loose surfaces.
- Adventure Geometry and 29" Wheels: The bike handles like a dream on fast descents, switchbacks, and rocky terrain. It's very responsive.

Why We Love It
The 600ADX isn’t for casual cruising; this is a bike for those who take their adventures seriously. If you're heading up a forest service road with a loaded pack or grinding your way through the desert, you’ll love how quietly and efficiently this bike performs.
This thing shines on long gravel routes and poorly maintained roads, where other bikes- and even some cars -would struggle. The belt drive and internal gearbox are perfect for riders who want durability without a high-maintenance setup, especially if you're riding in dusty or muddy conditions. And this is very much me. I am not awesome with bike maintenance and find this bike to be very fuss-free.
On remote trips where a breakdown would be a nightmare, having a setup like this provides serious peace of mind.
I did get a dropper post installed on my bike, and that has really perfected the setup for me!

Pedaling Out
If you're looking for a rugged, dependable bike for off-road adventures, photography missions, or remote trail access, the 600ADX by Priority Bicycles is one of the most compelling choices on the market. Its combination of belt drive, internal gearing, and a strong mid-drive motor makes it a powerful tool for anyone who wants to go farther, faster and with fewer mechanical issues along the way.
Perfect for those of us who love dirt roads, hate derailleurs, and want to get deep into the wild without worrying about our drivetrain. It's a great bike!
