Why I Love Them

On a recent rainy backpacking trip, I found myself reaching for these stuff sacks more often than I anticipated. Not only did they keep my essentials dry, but when the weather took a turn for the worse, they transformed into reliable rain mitts, keeping my hands warm and dry. Additionally, they've proven to be the perfect storage solution for my NEMO Equipment camp chair, showcasing their versatility beyond just hand protection.

  • Lightweight Design: Weighing just 15g or 28g depending on the material choice.
  • Durable Material: Made from high-quality Dyneema® Composite Fabric.
  • Compact Size: Dimensions of 12.5″ x 5.75″ make them easy to pack.
  • One Size Fits Most: Designed to accommodate various hand sizes comfortably.

Field Notes

During a few multi-day treks with unpredictable Rocky Mountain weather, these stuff sacks proved invaluable! Transitioning them from gear storage to hand protection is pretty seamless, and they provide a ton of warmth and comfort during stormy trips. Their lightweight nature meant they add negligible weight to my pack, yet offer significant utility.

As stuff sacks, these feel sturdy and can fit an entire backpacking chair as I mentioned above. I find that awesome.
