Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale 2026: Deals, Dates & Cyber Monday
Waiting for the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale 2026? Find sale dates, discounts and Cyber Monday deals on HMG ultralight gear.
If you’ve been waiting for the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale 2026, bookmark this page. Hyperlite Mountain Gear makes some of the most recognizable premium ultralight backpacks, shelters, accessories, and backcountry gear around, and Black Friday has historically been one of the best opportunities of the year to save on HMG gear.
We’ve tested a lot of Hyperlite Mountain Gear over the years at Southwest Hikes- from ultralight packs to the Ultamid -and our Hyperlite shelf in the gear room somehow keeps getting fuller. The downside is that premium ultralight gear comes with premium prices, which makes a sitewide Hyperlite sale particularly worth watching.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear has not yet announced its official Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2026 sale. We’ll update this page as soon as this year’s dates, discount, and sale details are confirmed.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale 2026
The official Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday 2026 deals have not yet been announced, but HMG has offered sitewide savings during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping period in previous years.
For reference, the 2025 Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale ran November 28 through December 1 and offered 15% off sitewide, with the discount automatically applied at checkout.
That doesn't guarantee Hyperlite will repeat the same promotion in 2026, but it gives us a useful idea of what the brand has offered during previous Black Friday events.
2026 sale dates: To be announced
2026 discount: To be announced
Cyber Monday deals: To be announced

We'll update these details as soon as Hyperlite announces its 2026 sale.
When Is the Hyperlite Mountain Gear Black Friday Sale in 2026?
Black Friday falls on November 27, 2026, followed by Cyber Monday on November 30, 2026.
Hyperlite's 2025 sale covered the entire Black Friday weekend and Cyber Monday, running from November 28 through December 1. If HMG follows a similar pattern this year, shoppers could have several days to take advantage of the promotion.
We'll add the confirmed Hyperlite Black Friday 2026 sale dates here as soon as they're announced.
What Was the Hyperlite Black Friday Sale in 2025?
Hyperlite Mountain Gear's 2025 Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotion was refreshingly simple:
Dates: November 28 – December 1, 2025
Discount: 15% off sitewide
Promo: Automatically applied at checkout
A sitewide discount is particularly interesting with Hyperlite because it allows shoppers to choose the gear that actually fits their kit rather than being limited to a small collection of clearance products.
And when you're shopping for premium equipment like ultralight backpacks and shelters, even a 15% discount can represent substantial savings.
What to Shop During the Hyperlite Black Friday Sale
If the 2026 promotion once again applies broadly across Hyperlite's lineup, we'd prioritize the bigger-ticket pieces you've already been considering rather than buying something simply because it's discounted.
Here are some of the HMG products and categories we'd keep an eye on.
Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ultamid
The Hyperlite Mountain Gear Ultamid is one of the brand's most distinctive shelters and one we've extensively tested ourselves.
Its pyramid design creates an impressive amount of protected space while keeping weight remarkably low, making it an interesting option for backpackers who want an ultralight shelter without squeezing into a tiny tent.
We've used the larger model ourselves, and you can read our complete Ultamid 4 review for our experience with it.
Hyperlite Southwest Packs
The Southwest is one of Hyperlite Mountain Gear's signature backpack designs and a particularly natural fit for the kind of dry, rugged environments we spend a lot of time hiking through.
It's minimalist, weather resistant, and—in our experience—burly as heck.
We've tested the Southwest extensively, including the larger-capacity version. Read our Hyperlite Mountain Gear Southwest 70 review for more.
Hyperlite Windrider
The Windrider takes Hyperlite's minimalist pack design and adds exterior mesh pockets that make it easy to see and dry gear while you're moving.
That makes it particularly useful for hikers who like keeping wet layers, water filters, shelters, or frequently used gear outside the main pack body.
We've also spent time with this one- you can read our complete Hyperlite Windrider 40 review.
Hyperlite Accessories and Smaller Gear
You don't necessarily have to spend hundreds of dollars to take advantage of a Hyperlite sale. HMG makes stuff sacks, pods, organizers, camera-carrying solutions, and other accessories designed to integrate with ultralight backpacking systems.
If your primary backpacking setup is already dialed, Black Friday can be a good opportunity to pick up one of the smaller pieces you've been putting off.
Is Hyperlite Mountain Gear Worth Buying on Black Friday?
If you've already decided that you want Hyperlite gear, Black Friday is certainly a sale period worth watching.
HMG sits firmly in the premium end of the ultralight market, particularly when you're shopping for major pieces like packs and shelters. That also means a sitewide percentage discount can save considerably more money on a $400–$800 purchase than it does on a small accessory.
We wouldn't recommend replacing perfectly good gear just because there's a sale. But if an Ultamid, Southwest, Windrider, or another HMG product is already on your gear list, the Black Friday and Cyber Monday period can make much more sense than paying full price a few weeks earlier.

In the meantime, this is a good time to figure out exactly which HMG gear you're interested in so you aren't trying to make a several-hundred-dollar gear decision while the Black Friday countdown clock is ticking.
