What They Make

Angry Pika Food Co. specializes in high-calorie, easy-to-eat granolas and trail cookies—perfect for a full meal, snacking, or even dessert in the backcountry. Here’s a full rundown of their current offerings:

🍯 Granola Lineup

Flavor Description Calories (per serving) Price
Caramel Apple Sweet, cozy, and full of dried apples and cinnamon 720 $9.49
Lemon Berry Bright citrus flavor with chewy berries 650 $9.49
Chocolate Strawberry Rich cocoa mixed with freeze-dried strawberries 770 $9.49
Cranberry White Chocolate (Nut-Free) Tart meets sweet in a nut-free option 720 $9.49
Granola Variety Pack One of each flavor—perfect for testing them all $37.99

All the granolas are made with hearty oats, coconut oil, flaxseed, and other real ingredients to keep you going mile after mile. I love this style of adventure meal because it requires no cooking. You can absolutely add hot water and have more of an oatmeal style meal, but I prefer to add cold water. This allows me to leave my stove at home to keep my backpacking kit lightweight.

Out of all these flavors, my favorites are the cranberry white chocolate, and the caramel apple. They taste really fresh and unique. Not too sweet, but sweet enough to be a tasty treat. My husband is a huge fan of the lemon berry.

🍪 Trail Cookies

These are not your average cookies. Angry Pika’s trail cookies are dense, chewy, and packed with energy. They’re currently sold out (should be restocked soon!), but here's a look at the lineup:

Flavor Description Notes
Monster Cookie Oats, peanut butter, chocolate chips – a protein-packed beast Sold out
German Chocolate Chocolate, coconut, and pecans channeling your favorite cake Sold out
Maple Pecan Sweet maple flavor with crunchy pecans Sold out

Keep your eyes peeled—these will be back in stock soon! My favorite is the German chocolate. Because who on earth isn't obsessed with coconut and chocolate? With that being said though, all the flavors are super good. And if you've had AlpenFuel's Trail Cookies and loved em, remember that Angry Pika Food Co. is simply a rebrand of AlpenFuel. The flavors, quality and nutrition are superb as ever!

Packing It Out

Angry Pika Food Co. is the kind of brand we love to support: small, spirited, and mountain-tested. Their granolas are some of the best-tasting backpacking meals we’ve tried—rich, energizing, and actually crave-worthy. So be careful not to eat them all up if you're pre-buying for a trip!

Whether you're a weekend warrior or logging big miles, their foods are a flavorful and reliably nutrient-dense. You wont get sodium-bombed from eating them, and you can be mindful of food allergies if you've got any.
