My Experience with the Mountain Crew By PAKA
I have been wearing the PAKA Mountain Crew on all kinds of active days, from meandering around my little mountain town, to some pretty long hiking days along the Colorado Trail.
I've found the Mountain Crew to be a great layer. On chilly mornings it can replace a light jacket, and on very cold mornings, it makes a great mid-layer. It's extremely breathable but keeps me cozy and warm. I really love that it's odor-proof, because I take it from trail to town often. It looks so nice I don't feel the need to change out of it to continue my day once the hiking is done.
The style of the Mountain Crew By PAKA is really modern but classic. It's exactly what you'd think of mountain folks wearing on a super cozy day, fire roaring in their cabin as snow falls on the tall pines outside. It has some beautiful details, like a little leather patch, a handwoven patch, and the signature of the woman who made the sweater. It's little touches like that that really make PAKA a unique company.
You can tell that this is a high quality sweater, and the fact that it is as ready for a long day on trail as it is for a chilled out day at home makes it a piece I'll wear a ton. And very likely a sweater I will give as a gift to loved ones. It feels like a hug!
